Heavy-duty containers SL with half-drop door
Heavy-duty containers from the BITO SL series feature a half-height drop door specifically designed to make retrieving your goods quicker and easier.
To enable quick access to the contents of the boxes even when stacked, an easy-to-open, non-jamming retrieval flap is fitted on the long or on the short side. The box is ideal for use wherever sensitive parts need to be transported and stored in a clean, dust-free environment. This makes the box ideal for clean handling in modern production facilities.
The robust and practical SL containers from BITO come with a double base and are particularly suited for heavy loads, as they can hold up to 500 kg. The static stacking load is 1,500 kg, i.e. up to three containers can be stacked on top of each other. When moved with a lift truck, the dynamic stacking load is 1,000 kg.
SL containers are supplied with runners. This facilitates hand pallet truck and forklift truck handling. The standardised dimensions of SL heavy-duty containers prove to be particularly advantageous, and with their base dimensions of 600 x 800 mm, they are exactly the size of half a Euro pallet. They are available with a height of 520 mm or 720 mm.

Features
Optionally available on the short or on the long side. Jam-free operation thanks to synchronised hinges. Only one hand is needed to close the door, which is also possible when containers are stacked.
Double base
Welded sandwich construction for high load capacities. Version for automated bin storage (non-textured base, no runners) can be supplied upon request.
Runners
Suited for fork lift truck or hand pallet truck handling. Easy to mount and to remove. Convenient in-house transfer with a hand pallet truck or a container dolly. Can also be handled on powered and gravity-driven conveyors.
Optimum container size
The trend towards reduced batch sizes demands smaller bulk storage containers. Advantage: more items can be stored on the same floor space.
Lid options:
Hinged lid: firm fit, can be strap-sealed and security-sealed.
Drop-on lid: perfect protection against soiling, easy drop-on fitting and removal (supplied upon request).
Light weight champion
Weighs much less than a same size metal container, but with similar load capacity.
Clean and safe
Snag-free internal sides allow easy cleaning, the solid sides design is ideal for storing and transporting liquids in jerrycans and drums.
