Drum transport & handling

Storing and handling oil drums and plastic drums can be difficult in a busy warehouse, particularly if the drums contain hazardous chemicals which could cause damage if spilled. The BITO range of drum dollys and barrel handling trolleys make it much easier to manoeuvre drums around the warehouse safely.

Our steel drum dolly features polyamide swivel wheels and can handle a load capacity up to 250kg. We also offer open decked steel drum dollies which can be supplied with or without a push bar for easy handling. Dispenser trolleys for 200 litre drums allow the safe movement of oil drums or plastic drums around the warehouse environment using minimal operator effort and are also at a safe height for decanting of drums into smaller containers. Dispenser trolleys for drums can be supplied with or without lever bars and rollers for turning drums.

Drum dollies with a steel sheet deck are also available, with or without push bars. Sack trucks for the safe movement of plastic drums are available in two different sizes and feature solid rubber wheels or pneumatic tyres. These sack trucks are suited to drums with a capacity between 120 and 220 litres. Sack trucks for drums with a capacity of 200 litres are also available and can be supplied with one stabilising wheel or two support wheels.
